SSG 08 | Grey Smoke is a Consumer Grade hydrographic finish that covers the rifle in soft swirls of grey, black and off-white, like drifting smoke. In Factory New the swirls are crisp and the darker tones look deep against the black barrel. It is a quiet, monochrome look with no bright accents.

Item type: sniper rifle. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The hydrographic smoke pattern covers the handguard, receiver, stock and pistol grip in swirling grey, black and pale tones. The barrel, muzzle brake, scope and bipod stay dark metal, framing the patterned parts.

The smoke swirls are complete on every patterned part, from the handguard to the stock. Edges and the grip show no rubbed areas. In game the rifle reads as a smooth dark grey with soft lighter streaks. Everything looks clean.
