Show allAllSkin overview
The skin's identity is its pale body with multicoloured route lines running along the handguard and receiver, a look that stands apart from the darker finishes common on sniper rifles. Minimal Wear keeps that clean, map-like impression almost intact, with only tiny marks that are hard to spot without zooming in.
Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver, handguard and pistol grip are painted in an off-white, slightly warm base, with thin parallel lines in red, orange, yellow, blue and green running lengthwise like routes on a metro map. Small station-style markings and line breaks sit along the receiver and the lower part of the frame.
A few tiny marks may appear on the handguard edges or the scope rims, usually visible only on inspection. The coloured lines stay crisp and the base keeps its even tone. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New, which makes it a sensible saving for most buyers.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir SSG 08 | Rapid Transit ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers with white, light grey or clean colours matching the route lines — red, orange, yellow, blue or green — suit the map theme well. Placing them along the handguard keeps the line pattern readable, while dark or holographic stickers fit better on the darker stock and barrel area.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the light base makes the difference between a low and high float easy to see.
- Inspect the handguard edges, the front of the receiver and the grip, as these are the first places where dark metal shows through.
- Look at whether the thin route lines are continuous, because broken lines change the clean map look the most.
- Review applied stickers and any name tag, as bright or bulky stickers can cover the small station markings on the receiver.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean look in game without paying for the top grade.
- Sticker crafters, since the tiny marks rarely interfere with a craft.
- A balanced option that looks almost new at normal distance.
