Skin overview

This SSG 08 finish is built on contrast between a pale body and fine coloured lines, so wear on it is easy to notice. In Well-Worn the light surfaces carry visible dark patches and the route lines break up in places, while the overall map idea and colour palette are still recognisable.

Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver, handguard and pistol grip are painted in an off-white, slightly warm base, with thin parallel lines in red, orange, yellow, blue and green running lengthwise like routes on a metro map. Small station-style markings and line breaks sit along the receiver and the lower part of the frame.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the flat surfaces of the handguard and receiver, leaving larger dark patches on the light base. The grip and scope rims look noticeably scraped, and several route lines are broken along their length. In game the scheme looks visibly used, though the colour palette and the light-and-dark split of the rifle are still clear.
