Skin overview

The skin pairs a dark teal hydrographic base with scattered yellow blossoms and a bright yellow scope. In Minimal Wear the print looks practically intact from the player's view. Any marks are faint and limited to edges you rarely notice in a match.

Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The handguard, receiver, pistol grip and cheek rest are covered in a dark teal hydrographic base with small yellow flowers and darker rosette shapes. The scope is painted bright yellow with dark round blossoms, making it the brightest part of the rifle.

Small specks may appear on the front edge of the handguard and on the scope rims. The panels of the receiver and grip remain clean. At normal distance the difference from Factory New is hard to see. The flowers and teal base keep their full contrast.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir SSG 08 | Sea Calico is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The St. Marc Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, yellow and dark green stickers continue the colour scheme naturally. Placement on the teal receiver panel keeps them close to the floral print without covering the bright scope.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float looks noticeably cleaner on the handguard edges.
• Inspect the scope rims and tube, as the yellow scope shows scratches more clearly than the teal body.
