Show allAllSkin overview
The skin is built around a calm blue palette on an anodized base, with light blue details on the muzzle and small pins. At Minimal Wear the difference from a fresh copy is limited to faint marks on a few edges that are hard to spot in a match. It keeps almost the full look of the cleanest grade while usually being the easier one to pick up.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Anodized: the colour is in the metal coating itself, so wear shows mostly as dulling rather than a rubbed-off pattern.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The perforated barrel shroud and upper receiver are finished in deep teal with a darker gradient, while the muzzle tip and small pins are picked out in light blue. The lower receiver, trigger area and grip are a dark navy close to black, which frames the brighter upper part.
Tiny marks may appear on the muzzle tip and a few shroud hole edges. The receiver, grip and magazine remain essentially clean. In game these marks are practically invisible at normal distance. Close up in inspect mode the difference from Factory New is slight.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Blue Blast is 0–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 7 skins of the Tec-9 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in blue, teal, white or silver tones blend with the finish, while a single orange or gold sticker gives a clear contrast. The side of the receiver above the grip is a natural spot, since the darker area makes stickers stand out.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the shroud and muzzle show the difference first.
- Inspect the edges of the shroud holes and the bolt handle, which lose colour before other parts.
- Look at any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the look of this plain finish noticeably.
- The skin has no pattern variations, so compare copies by wear only.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Buyers who want a nearly pristine look without insisting on the top grade.
- Players who will not notice tiny edge marks during a match.
- A sensible balance between appearance and cost.
