Skin overview

The recognisable part of this skin is the perforated barrel shroud in deep teal against the darker frame. At Well-Worn the coating is visibly thinned, with bare metal patches on the shroud, top of the receiver and bolt handle. The overall blue tone remains, but it looks like a pistol that has seen heavy use.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Anodized: the colour is in the metal coating itself, so wear shows mostly as dulling rather than a rubbed-off pattern.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The perforated barrel shroud and upper receiver are finished in deep teal with a darker gradient, while the muzzle tip and small pins are picked out in light blue. The lower receiver, trigger area and grip are a dark navy close to black, which frames the brighter upper part.

Bare metal patches cover larger areas of the shroud and the top of the receiver, and the bolt handle is largely worn. Scratches reach the edges of the lower frame and the magazine. The grip keeps most of its dark colour. In game the blue becomes patchy, though the overall tone is still recognisable.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Blue Blast ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in blue, teal, white or silver tones blend with the finish, while a single orange or gold sticker gives a clear contrast. The side of the receiver above the grip is a natural spot, since the darker area makes stickers stand out.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the shroud and muzzle show the difference first.
  • Inspect the edges of the shroud holes and the bolt handle, which lose colour before other parts.
  • Look at any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the look of this plain finish noticeably.
  • The skin has no pattern variations, so compare copies by wear only.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who like a used, patchy look on their pistol.
  • Budget buyers looking for an inexpensive skin on the Tec-9.
  • Suits those who care more about character than cleanliness.
