Skin overview

Tec-9 | Phoenix Chalk covers the pistol in a dense layer of Phoenix Connexion graffiti, drawn in faded teal, grey and dusty pink over a dark brown base. In Factory New every chalk line stays sharp, so the tags read as a deliberate pattern rather than a muddy texture. It is a quiet, earthy finish that suits a Terrorist-side sidearm.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The whole pistol is wrapped in a hydrographic print of overlapping Phoenix Connexion graffiti tags in pale teal, grey and dusty pink on a dark reddish-brown base. The perforated barrel shroud and the receiver carry the busiest part of the pattern, while the grip shows the same tags at a larger, calmer scale.

The print is complete on every part, with no exposed metal on the muzzle, shroud or receiver edges. The thin chalk lines keep their contrast against the brown base. At normal distance the pattern reads as a fine, even graffiti texture. The magazine and grip look fully clean.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Phoenix Chalk is 0–0.8; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Tec-9 | Phoenix Chalk belongs to The Havoc Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 8 skins of the Tec-9 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Muted stickers in teal, pink, grey or brown blend with the chalk palette and keep the graffiti theme. Paper or graffiti-style stickers on the flat side of the receiver work best, while bright holo or gold may overpower the subdued pattern.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade look cleaner than those near the bottom.
  • Inspect the barrel shroud and muzzle first, as the print wears off there before anywhere else.
  • Look at how the graffiti falls on the receiver side, because the tag placement shifts from copy to copy.
  • Check applied stickers and a name tag, since they change how the busy pattern reads.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Collectors who want the chalk lines at full contrast.
  • Sticker crafters who need a clean surface for a themed graffiti build.
  • The cleanest version of a calm, low-key pistol finish.
