Skin overview

This is the chalk-graffiti Tec-9 in an almost untouched state, with the brown base and pale teal tags still crisp across the shroud and receiver. Any marks at this grade sit on small edges and are hard to spot without inspecting the model. For most players it looks the same as the cleanest grade in hand.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The whole pistol is wrapped in a hydrographic print of overlapping Phoenix Connexion graffiti tags in pale teal, grey and dusty pink on a dark reddish-brown base. The perforated barrel shroud and the receiver carry the busiest part of the pattern, while the grip shows the same tags at a larger, calmer scale.

Small specks may appear on the muzzle and the rims of the shroud holes. The tags on the receiver and grip remain sharp and unbroken. In game the difference from Factory New is practically invisible. The magazine and flat panels stay clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Phoenix Chalk is 0–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir Tec-9 | Phoenix Chalk belongs to The Havoc Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Muted stickers in teal, pink, grey or brown blend with the chalk palette and keep the graffiti theme. Paper or graffiti-style stickers on the flat side of the receiver work best, while bright holo or gold may overpower the subdued pattern.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade look cleaner than those near the bottom.
• Inspect the barrel shroud and muzzle first, as the print wears off there before anywhere else.
