Skin overview

Sandstorm turns the Tec-9 into a purple pistol streaked with beige, a scheme that suits the weathered look well. Battle-Scarred is the most worn grade, with heavy abrasion on the shroud, muzzle and magazine base. Because the finish does not reach the far end of the float scale, a good part of the pattern survives even here.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and the perforated barrel shroud are painted in deep purple with angular beige streaks sweeping diagonally across them. The magazine well and trigger guard area are mostly beige, while the long magazine stays purple with darker purple shapes over it.

Heavy abrasion covers the shroud and muzzle, and the top of the receiver loses much of its paint. The magazine base and grip edges are scuffed through, and the purple looks faded and uneven. In game it reads as a rough, weathered pistol. The central sides of the magazine and grip still hold recognisable parts of the pattern.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.7

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Sandstorm ranges from 0.1 to 0.7; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.7 — 42% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in beige, gold, purple or violet tones blend with the artwork. Placements on the side of the receiver or along the magazine keep the beige streaks on the shroud visible.
