Show allAllSkin overview
This wear keeps the same split between warm tan on top and cool grey-blue below, and in normal play it is hard to tell apart from a fresh copy. Any marks are tiny and sit on edges you rarely notice. It is a sensible way to get a near-clean look of this simple pistol finish.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The upper receiver, the perforated barrel shroud and the charging handle are painted a sandy tan with a slight golden tone. The lower frame, trigger guard, grip and long magazine are a pale blue-grey, while the muzzle stays dark.
Very light marks may appear at the muzzle end and on the edges of the shroud holes. The frame, grip and magazine faces stay clean. At normal distance in game the pistol looks practically new. The colour contrast is fully intact.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Tornado ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Alpha Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in tan, gold, brown or muted blue-grey match the two-tone scheme without breaking it. Darker or metallic stickers stand out well against the pale grey magazine and frame.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear grade, since chipping on this solid finish grows steadily with it.
- Check the shroud holes, muzzle and charging handle first, as these show wear earliest.
- A Souvenir version of this skin exists, so make sure you are buying the variant you want.
- Check any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the look of such a plain finish noticeably.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want an almost new look without chasing the top grade.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean base for a light colour scheme.
- Conclusion: near-new appearance with a more relaxed choice.
