Skin overview

Here the two colours are still clearly separated, yet chipping is visible along most edges of the pistol. The tan shroud and the grey magazine pick up scuffs that show darker metal underneath. It suits players who like a used, workshop look on a Terrorist pistol.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The upper receiver, the perforated barrel shroud and the charging handle are painted a sandy tan with a slight golden tone. The lower frame, trigger guard, grip and long magazine are a pale blue-grey, while the muzzle stays dark.

Chipping now runs along most edges of the shroud, receiver, frame and magazine, showing darker metal underneath. Scuffs begin to reach the flatter areas of the grip and magazine. In game the pistol clearly looks used, though the colours are still easy to read. The centres of larger panels keep most of their paint.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Tornado is 0.06–0.8; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Tec-9 | Tornado belongs to The Alpha Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 5 skins of the Tec-9 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in tan, gold, brown or muted blue-grey match the two-tone scheme without breaking it. Darker or metallic stickers stand out well against the pale grey magazine and frame.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float position within the wear grade, since chipping on this solid finish grows steadily with it.
  • Check the shroud holes, muzzle and charging handle first, as these show wear earliest.
  • A Souvenir version of this skin exists, so make sure you are buying the variant you want.
  • Check any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the look of such a plain finish noticeably.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who like a used, workshop-style pistol.
  • Buyers looking for an inexpensive copy that still shows both colours clearly.
  • Conclusion: a worn but readable version of the finish.
