Skin overview

Sans Comic relies on contrast between grey tones, black line work and silver gloss rather than colour, so light wear blends into the palette. In Field-Tested scuffs appear on edges and raised parts, yet the comic panels remain readable on the large flat surfaces. Many players find this the most balanced grade of the finish.

Item type: sniper rifle. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The handguard, receiver and stock carry a grayscale hydrographic pattern of comic-style panels and line work, with some elements picked out in high-gloss silver paint. The scope body and mount use the same print, while the barrel and muzzle brake stay dark and plain.

Wear spreads along the handguard edges, the top of the receiver and the scope rings, and the grip starts to show scuffs on its texture. Some silver accents lose part of their shine. In game the comic pattern still reads clearly, and the light wear blends into the grey palette. The flat surfaces of the stock and handguard sides stay mostly clean.

Which stickers suit it

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep noticeably more silver gloss.
• Look at the handguard rails, scope rings and grip in the inspect view, as these parts lose the print first.
• On Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and whether they fit the grayscale artwork.
• If there is a name tag, make sure it suits the item, because it cannot be removed without losing it.
