Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the roughest version of the Bowie Knife Crimson Web: the red base coat breaks up into patches separated by grey steel. The web survives only in fragments, mostly on the inner part of the blade. For many players it is the most direct way to own this knife and finish, and the worn steel gives it a rugged survival-tool look.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The whole blade of the Bowie Knife, including the clip point and the sawback teeth on the spine, is painted red with a semi-gloss topcoat. A thin black spider web is printed over it by hydrographic, and its lines run across the flat of the blade.

Large areas of the blade are bare steel, especially toward the tip and along both edges. The red remains in patches, and only fragments of the web are left on them. In game the knife reads as grey steel with red patches rather than a solid red blade. The handle, guard and pommel stay unchanged.
