Show allAllSkin overview
This is the most worn grade of the blue camo Flip Knife, with patches of navy and grey-blue broken up by bare steel. Because the float range of this skin stops early, Battle-Scarred copies keep more of the pattern than the name suggests. The blue tone of the knife is still clear at a glance.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The back-swept blade is covered in a hydrographic camo of irregular blotches in navy, mid-blue and pale grey-blue, running from the guard to the acute point. The serrated section of the spine near the handle and the cutting edge show a thin line of polished steel.
Wear covers the edge, tip and serrations and cuts into a good share of the blade camo. Because the range ends early, the centre of the blade and much of the handle keep their blue. The handle ridges are worn through to a lighter tone. In game it reads as a scuffed blue knife with plenty of steel showing.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5
The whole float range of ★ Flip Knife | Bright Water is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the top of a grade show more steel on the edge and tip.
- Look at the tip and serrations in the inspect view, as these lose paint first.
- Hydrographic placement varies, so compare how the pale and dark patches fall on the blade.
- Note whether there is a name tag or StatTrak™ counter and whether you want it.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Entry-level buyers looking for the lowest grade of the skin.
- Players who know the short wear range keeps more pattern than usual.
- Conclusion: the budget entry that still reads as a blue camo knife.
