★ Flip Knife | Bright Water (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

This Flip Knife carries a blue hydrographic camo whose contrast between dark and pale patches defines its look. In Field-Tested the blade starts to show bare steel along the edge and point, which gives the knife a used, practical character. The camo still dominates the flat of the blade and the handle stays blue.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The back-swept blade is covered in a hydrographic camo of irregular blotches in navy, mid-blue and pale grey-blue, running from the guard to the acute point. The serrated section of the spine near the handle and the cutting edge show a thin line of polished steel.

Bare steel shows along the cutting edge, on the serrations and around the point. Some scuffs reach into the camo near the edge, while the centre of the blade stays mostly painted. The raised ridges of the handle may lighten slightly. In game the wear reads as a steel outline around a still clearly blue blade.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the top of a grade show more steel on the edge and tip.
• Look at the tip and serrations in the inspect view, as these lose paint first.
• Hydrographic placement varies, so compare how the pale and dark patches fall on the blade.
• Note whether there is a name tag or StatTrak™ counter and whether you want it.

• Buyers who like a bit of steel showing along the edge.
• Conclusion: a practical grade where the camo still leads.
