Skin overview

Bright Water is a cool-toned camo knife, and in Well-Worn it shows clear contrast between the remaining blue patches and exposed metal. Steel comes through along the edge, the serrations and the point, while the middle of the blade keeps much of its pattern. It reads as a weathered blue knife rather than a pristine one.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The back-swept blade is covered in a hydrographic camo of irregular blotches in navy, mid-blue and pale grey-blue, running from the guard to the acute point. The serrated section of the spine near the handle and the cutting edge show a thin line of polished steel.

The edge, point and serrations are largely bare, and scratches spread further across the blade. The pale blotches lose definition first where they meet the steel. The handle ridges show noticeable wear while the recesses stay blue. In game the knife looks clearly used, with the camo surviving in the middle of the blade.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the top of a grade show more steel on the edge and tip.
  • Look at the tip and serrations in the inspect view, as these lose paint first.
  • Hydrographic placement varies, so compare how the pale and dark patches fall on the blade.
  • Note whether there is a name tag or StatTrak™ counter and whether you want it.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget-minded players who want this knife in their inventory.
  • Fans of a weathered, used look.
  • Conclusion: an affordable way into the skin with visible character.
