★ Talon Knife | Safari Mesh in Battle-Scarred keeps the distinctive hooked silhouette and ring grip, while much of the camouflage gives way to scratched metal. The blade loses the most paint, and the grip holds on to more of the olive tone. This grade is the most direct way to get the Talon Knife shape with a weathered, rough finish.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The whole knife is painted in an olive, khaki and grey-green palette with a fine net pattern sprayed over it and soft darker blotches on top. The curved blade carries darker mottling along the spine, a row of serrated teeth near the base and three round holes, while the cutting edge shows a lighter steel band.
Large areas of the blade lose their paint, leaving scratched steel with remnants of the mesh. The teeth, tip and ring are worn down to metal. In game the blade looks mostly grey with olive traces, while the grip still shows the camouflage. The silhouette stays fully recognisable.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8

What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the grade, since cleaner values keep more paint on the edge and teeth.
- Look at the cutting edge, tip and finger ring first, as these lose paint before the rest of the knife.
- Compare the blade flat on inspect screenshots, because worn copies differ in how much of the mesh survives there.
- Decide whether you need the StatTrak™ version, which exists for this knife.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget buyers whose main goal is the Talon Knife animations and shape.
- Fans of heavily weathered, scratched metal finishes.
