Skin overview

This ★ Talon Knife | Safari Mesh pairs a hooked blade with a quiet green-grey spray-paint camouflage. In Minimal Wear the mesh still looks complete, and any marks are limited to tiny specks near the edge and tip that are hard to spot in game. It gives almost the same look as the cleanest grade at a more relaxed level of condition.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole knife is painted in an olive, khaki and grey-green palette with a fine net pattern sprayed over it and soft darker blotches on top. The curved blade carries darker mottling along the spine, a row of serrated teeth near the base and three round holes, while the cutting edge shows a lighter steel band.

Small specks of bare metal may appear on the cutting edge and the very tip. The spine teeth can show faint marks on their points. At normal distance in game these are practically invisible. The flat of the blade, the grip and the ring stay clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Talon Knife | Safari Mesh ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since cleaner values keep more paint on the edge and teeth.
  • Look at the cutting edge, tip and finger ring first, as these lose paint before the rest of the knife.
  • Compare the blade flat on inspect screenshots, because worn copies differ in how much of the mesh survives there.
  • Decide whether you need the StatTrak™ version, which exists for this knife.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look without chasing the top grade.
  • Buyers who accept tiny edge marks that are not visible in game.
  • A sensible balance between appearance and condition.
