The Talon Knife in Crimson Web is a red, web-patterned karambit whose character comes from the paint over the curved blade. At Well-Worn the red base is noticeably thinned along the edge, tip and serrations, and the web loses some sharpness in those areas. The overall red and black impression still holds at a glance, at a lower entry point into the finish.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The curved blade is painted in a dark red base with a black spider web hydrographic running across its full length, from the hooked tip to the guard. The spine carries a row of saw-tooth serrations and three round cut-outs, which break up the web and catch the eye first.
The edge and tip are clearly stripped, and the serrations show more metal than paint. Wear spreads from the edges onto the blade, thinning the red and blurring the web. The ring is noticeably scuffed around its outer side. Patches near the spine and guard keep a cleaner look.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of ★ Talon Knife | Crimson Web is 0.06–0.8; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying
- Look at where the float sits within its wear range, since the lower end of each grade keeps more paint on the edge and tip.
- Check the web placement on the blade, because the pattern position differs between copies and changes how the knife looks on inspection.
- Inspect the serrations, cut-out rims and finger ring, as these are the first places where paint wears off.
- Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or has a name tag, since both are visible on the item.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget buyers who want the Talon shape with a red finish.
- Players who do not mind worn edges and a softer web.
- A cheaper way into this knife and finish.
