Souvenir AUG | Chameleon (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

The skin pairs a restrained dark body with one bright accent: a green chameleon among leaves on the stock, with a thin red line running forward along the side. In Minimal Wear the picture looks practically untouched in game, and any marks sit on the very edges of the stock. It keeps the clean contrast of the top grade at a lower entry point.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver, barrel, scope and carrying rail are finished in dark graphite and black, giving the rifle a plain, almost stock look from the front. The artwork is concentrated on the rear of the stock: a bright green chameleon with orange and red spots, its tail curling down towards the butt, surrounded by green leaves.

Tiny marks can appear on the outer edges of the stock and the butt, usually hard to spot without close inspection. The chameleon itself stays sharp and bright. At normal distance in game this grade is almost indistinguishable from Factory New, and the receiver and barrel look untouched.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir AUG | Chameleon ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 16% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Green, orange and red stickers echo the chameleon's colours, while dark or holographic stickers blend with the graphite body. Placing them on the receiver keeps the artwork on the stock visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the float position within the wear range, since the chameleon on the stock is where the difference between copies is most visible.
• Inspect the edges and bottom of the stock first, as that is where wear starts and spreads into the artwork.
• Check whether stickers sit near the chameleon or cover part of the stock artwork.
• Note any name tag and whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir, since both variants exist for this skin.
