Skin overview

The chameleon remains the focal point, but in Well-Worn it looks like a painting that has been handled often. Scratches cross the green body and the leaves, and the stock edges show noticeable wear, while the dark receiver still looks fairly even. It suits players who like the motif and do not mind a used look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver, barrel, scope and carrying rail are finished in dark graphite and black, giving the rifle a plain, almost stock look from the front. The artwork is concentrated on the rear of the stock: a bright green chameleon with orange and red spots, its tail curling down towards the butt, surrounded by green leaves.

Scratches cross the body of the chameleon and the leaves, and the stock edges show clear wear down to the base. The red line can look broken in places. In game the motif is still recognisable but looks dulled, while the receiver and barrel show only scattered light marks.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir AUG | Chameleon ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 14% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Green, orange and red stickers echo the chameleon's colours, while dark or holographic stickers blend with the graphite body. Placing them on the receiver keeps the artwork on the stock visible.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float position within the wear range, since the chameleon on the stock is where the difference between copies is most visible.
• Inspect the edges and bottom of the stock first, as that is where wear starts and spreads into the artwork.
• Check whether stickers sit near the chameleon or cover part of the stock artwork.
• Note any name tag and whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir, since both variants exist for this skin.
