Skin overview

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply gives the pistol a laminated look: the slide and frame are covered in wavy layers of bright blue and near-black, like the cut edge of plywood, and the grip is a pale ash tone with dark contour lines. In Factory New the blue layers stay saturated and the edges of every contour are sharp, so the grain pattern reads clearly even at a glance.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The slide is covered in tight, wavy contour layers of bright blue alternating with black and dark grey, resembling the end grain of laminated wood. The frame and trigger guard continue the same pattern in darker blue-grey tones, while the hammer area and rear of the slide carry lighter grey layers.

The finish is intact on every part: the blue layers are bright and the dark lines between them are crisp. The muzzle and slide edges show no chipping. The ash grip keeps its clean, pale tone. In game the gun looks exactly as on the preview.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Blue Ply is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Prisma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Prisma 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Blue, white, silver and holographic stickers sit well on the blue laminate of the slide. Muted grey or monochrome stickers keep the calm, material look, while bright warm colours will clash with the busy pattern.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the lower end of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the muzzle and the top edge of the slide on the screenshot, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Check the grip edges, because wear on the pale ash colour is easier to notice than on the busy blue slide.
  • See whether stickers or a name tag are applied and whether they fit the blue-and-ash colour scheme.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Players who want the brightest blue and the sharpest grain lines.
  • Sticker crafters who need a fully clean base for their placements.
  • The choice for those who want the skin exactly as on the preview.
