Skin overview

This finish sprays purple palm leaves over a blue and pink camo, and its float range stops short of the heaviest damage possible on other skins. Battle-Scarred copies show broad scuffing on edges and protruding parts, yet the darker body still holds much of the leaf pattern. It is the most affordable way to run the Sundown look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The body, carry handle and stock are covered in a dark slate base with blue, teal and pinkish tints, over which dark purple palm fronds are sprayed in loose, overlapping shapes. The leaves run across the receiver and the long carry handle and continue down the pistol grip and the rear of the stock.

Heavy scuffing covers the carry handle, the grip, the magazine and the stock edges, and the camo base is broken by metal across protruding areas. The fronds survive mostly on flatter sections of the receiver and stock. Since the range caps the damage, the rifle does not reach the near-bare look of skins with a fuller range. In game it reads as a dark, rough rifle with purple traces.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.6

The float of Souvenir FAMAS | Sundown ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.6 — 25% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The St. Marc Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Purple, pink, teal and holographic stickers match the dusky palm-and-camo palette. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver or the stock keeps them clear of the busiest leaf areas, while pastel or retro-styled designs fit the finish's aesthetic theme.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the wear grade, since the carry handle is the first place where the difference shows in first-person view.
  • Look at the magazine corners and trigger guard on worn copies to judge how much metal is exposed.
  • Souvenir copies come with preset stickers, so decide whether they fit the purple-blue palette before buying.
  • Check for a name tag and applied stickers, as they change how the piece looks and who it suits.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget entry for players who want the FAMAS finish at the lowest cost.
  • Fans of heavily worn looks, given that this skin's range limits the damage.
  • Conclusion: the cheapest way to own Sundown while keeping part of the pattern.
