Show allAllSkin overview
Sundown relies on a soft, low-contrast palette, so small marks blend into the darker tones rather than standing out. In Minimal Wear the palm motif and camo base read just as they do on a fresh copy at normal viewing distance. It is a practical choice for anyone who wants a near-clean look while giving up the top grade.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The body, carry handle and stock are covered in a dark slate base with blue, teal and pinkish tints, over which dark purple palm fronds are sprayed in loose, overlapping shapes. The leaves run across the receiver and the long carry handle and continue down the pistol grip and the rear of the stock.
Tiny scratches may appear on the top of the carry handle and the magazine corners. Because the base is dark and low in contrast, they are hard to spot in game. The body, stock and leaf pattern still look clean.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir FAMAS | Sundown is 0–0.6; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (13% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir FAMAS | Sundown belongs to The St. Marc Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Purple, pink, teal and holographic stickers match the dusky palm-and-camo palette. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver or the stock keeps them clear of the busiest leaf areas, while pastel or retro-styled designs fit the finish's aesthetic theme.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear grade, since the carry handle is the first place where the difference shows in first-person view.
- Look at the magazine corners and trigger guard on worn copies to judge how much metal is exposed.
- Souvenir copies come with preset stickers, so decide whether they fit the purple-blue palette before buying.
- Check for a name tag and applied stickers, as they change how the piece looks and who it suits.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean rifle and accept tiny marks they will rarely notice.
- Buyers saving compared with Factory New on a finish where the difference is subtle.
- Conclusion: close to new in game, with a more sensible trade-off.
