Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred this skin is a heavily weathered version of its plated sci-fi design, with dark receiver, pale panels and yellow accents still recognisable underneath. Large areas of the light plating are scraped and darkened, and much of the fine marking is gone. It suits players who want the Covert M4A4 artwork with a rough, salvaged character.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The handguard is covered in pale grey-green plating with raised rectangular blocks carrying dark stencilled markings, edged by thin yellow lines along the top and bottom. The receiver is dark olive, almost black, with fine yellow panel outlines and small technical details that give it a machined, starship-interior feel.

Large areas of the pale plating on the handguard, magazine, grip and stock are scraped away and darkened with grime. Most of the yellow lines and fine markings are gone, leaving the panel shapes as the main recognisable element. The receiver shows scratches on its edges and raised parts. In game the skin reads as a rough, darker version of the design.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Yellow, black and olive stickers match the trim and the receiver, and holographic or metallic ones fit the sci-fi plating. The pale handguard panels are the most visible placement and work well for a single strong accent.
