Skin overview

MAC-10 | Pipe Down shows red tubes running through a dark receiver, with matching red accents on the barrel and trigger guard. In Battle-Scarred much of the paint on edges and raised parts is gone, and the pipes look chipped and faded. It is the cheapest way to get the design, with a heavily used, scrapyard look.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver is painted dark gunmetal with openings that reveal a bundle of red pipes running lengthwise along the body. At the rear the tubing bends into a loop over the top of the frame, and the threaded barrel tip and trigger guard are painted in the same red.

Large areas of paint are gone from the receiver edges, the red tubes, the barrel tip and the magazine. The pipes look chipped and faded, and the dark body shows bare patches. In game the skin reads as a worn red-and-dark design rather than a clean cutaway. Only sheltered spots between the tubes keep some of the original colour.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.9

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Pipe Down is 0–0.9; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.9 segment (50% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and white stickers match the pipe artwork and the dark receiver best. Placing them on the upper receiver works with the tubing, while metallic or grey stickers blend with the light magazine.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the red tubes and receiver edges show the difference most.
• Look at the barrel tip and rear pipe loop on inspect, as these raised parts lose colour first.
• The pattern does not change the design much, so condition matters more than pattern placement.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, and whether you need a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version.
