Skin overview

This finish is built on a simple contrast: a dark gunmetal shell and red tubing that seems to fill it from the inside. In Well-Worn the red pipes and outer edges carry clear abrasion, and the dark paint looks patchy in places. The theme is still readable, but the overall impression becomes rough and industrial.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver is painted dark gunmetal with openings that reveal a bundle of red pipes running lengthwise along the body. At the rear the tubing bends into a loop over the top of the frame, and the threaded barrel tip and trigger guard are painted in the same red.

The red pipes show heavy abrasion along their length, and the receiver edges and rear loop are clearly scraped. The barrel tip and trigger guard lose a noticeable part of their red. In game the finish looks patchy, though the tube layout is still readable. Only the recessed areas between the pipes keep a fairly even colour.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Pipe Down is 0–0.9; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Danger Zone Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Danger Zone Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and white stickers match the pipe artwork and the dark receiver best. Placing them on the upper receiver works with the tubing, while metallic or grey stickers blend with the light magazine.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the red tubes and receiver edges show the difference most.
  • Look at the barrel tip and rear pipe loop on inspect, as these raised parts lose colour first.
  • The pattern does not change the design much, so condition matters more than pattern placement.
  • Check applied stickers and name tags, and whether you need a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who still want the pipe motif to be readable.
  • Players who like a rough, industrial look on their SMG.
  • A sensible saving if a used look suits you.
