Show allAllSkin overview
Armor Core in Battle-Scarred is the most worn version available, yet the float range of this skin stops short of the heaviest damage. The black paint is broken on the edges and raised parts, and the steel inlay looks matte and heavily scratched. It suits a player who wants a dark, rugged MP7 at the lowest cost.
Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and upper body are covered in glossy black paint with a slight blue-grey sheen, and the side panels carry an engraved line inlay. The front grip, magazine, rear stock and the muzzle end of the receiver are finished in brushed grey stainless steel, which gives the gun its two-tone look.
The black paint is broken along all edges and raised details, and metal shows through on the rail and front of the receiver. The brushed steel parts turn matte with heavy scratching. Because the float range of this skin stops early, the damage is less extreme than on many other Battle-Scarred finishes. In game the MP7 looks rough but keeps its dark two-tone character.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5
The float of Souvenir MP7 | Armor Core ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir MP7 | Armor Core belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which holds 15 skins.
It drops from Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Black, silver, chrome and grey stickers keep the restrained two-tone look of the skin. A single bright accent in red or gold placed on the dark receiver stands out well against the black paint.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since the edges of the receiver and top rail show the difference first.
- Check the brushed steel on the magazine and stock for scratches, as these large light parts make wear easy to notice.
- The finish has no pattern variation that matters, so focus on float, stickers and name tag.
- Make sure any applied stickers suit the dark body and do not clash with the steel accents.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry for players who want a dark MP7 at the lowest cost.
- Fans of a rough look, helped by a float range that stops short of the heaviest wear.
- Conclusion: the cheapest way to own this skin while keeping its recognisable look.
