Show allAllSkin overview
Armor Core reads as a dark, restrained MP7 with steel accents rather than a bright pattern. In Field-Tested the black paint starts to thin on the edges of the receiver and rail, and the brushed parts lose some of their even sheen. It looks like a used service weapon while the two-tone scheme stays clear.
Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver and upper body are covered in glossy black paint with a slight blue-grey sheen, and the side panels carry an engraved line inlay. The front grip, magazine, rear stock and the muzzle end of the receiver are finished in brushed grey stainless steel, which gives the gun its two-tone look.
The black paint thins on the receiver edges, the top rail and the front of the gun, showing lighter metal underneath. The brushed steel on the magazine and stock picks up visible scratches and loses part of its sheen. In game the wear shows as light outlines along the edges rather than large patches. The flat side panels and the inlay are still mostly clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir MP7 | Armor Core is 0–0.5; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (46% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir MP7 | Armor Core belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which holds 15 skins.
The source is Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, silver, chrome and grey stickers keep the restrained two-tone look of the skin. A single bright accent in red or gold placed on the dark receiver stands out well against the black paint.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since the edges of the receiver and top rail show the difference first.
- Check the brushed steel on the magazine and stock for scratches, as these large light parts make wear easy to notice.
- The finish has no pattern variation that matters, so focus on float, stickers and name tag.
- Make sure any applied stickers suit the dark body and do not clash with the steel accents.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like a used, service-weapon look on a dark MP7.
- Buyers who want the skin for everyday play without paying for a clean copy.
- Conclusion: a practical choice for regular matches.
