Show allAllSkin overview
MP7 | Armor Core is a Mil-Spec Grade finish that pairs black oil-based paint with brushed stainless steel parts and inlay. In Factory New the black keeps its deep gloss and the steel panels stay evenly brushed, so the contrast between dark and light parts is at its sharpest.
Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The receiver and upper body are covered in glossy black paint with a slight blue-grey sheen, and the side panels carry an engraved line inlay. The front grip, magazine, rear stock and the muzzle end of the receiver are finished in brushed grey stainless steel, which gives the gun its two-tone look.
The black paint is uniform and glossy across the receiver, rail and side panels. The brushed steel on the grip, magazine and stock has an even texture with no visible marks. In game the engraved inlay lines on the side read cleanly. This is the reference look of the skin.
Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07
The whole float range of Souvenir MP7 | Armor Core is 0–0.5; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (14% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir MP7 | Armor Core belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which holds 15 skins.
It drops from Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).
What it costs in each quality
Among 7 skins of the MP7 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 6th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, silver, chrome and grey stickers keep the restrained two-tone look of the skin. A single bright accent in red or gold placed on the dark receiver stands out well against the black paint.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since the edges of the receiver and top rail show the difference first.
- Check the brushed steel on the magazine and stock for scratches, as these large light parts make wear easy to notice.
- The finish has no pattern variation that matters, so focus on float, stickers and name tag.
- Make sure any applied stickers suit the dark body and do not clash with the steel accents.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the cleanest gloss and the sharpest contrast between black paint and steel.
- Sticker crafters who need an untouched dark base.
- Conclusion: the reference version for those who value a clean finish.
