Skin overview

At Well-Worn this blue MP9 takes on a used, workshop look: the coat is broken up by scratches and chipped areas along the edges. The main surfaces of the receiver and grips still hold enough blue for the skin to stay recognisable. It suits players who like a weathered finish rather than a pristine one.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver, including the top rail and the side panels, is painted in a deep cobalt blue with a faintly mottled, streaky spray texture. The vertical foregrip, pistol grip and long magazine carry the same blue, so the gun reads as one colour from muzzle to grip.

Chips and scratches spread from the edges onto the receiver sides, and the magazine and grip ribs show clear bare patches. The trigger guard and stock butt plate also lose paint at their edges. In game the wear is noticeable as a broken, patchy blue. The central areas of the side panels still hold their colour.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir MP9 | Buff Blue ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

The plain blue body works well with white, silver or gold stickers that stand out against it, or with other blue shades for a tonal look. The flat side of the receiver above the grip is the most visible spot for a single larger sticker.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the edges.
  • Inspect the top rail, the muzzle end and the bottom of the magazine, as these lose paint first.
  • Do not mistake the built-in mottled spray texture for wear when comparing clean copies.
  • Look at any applied stickers or name tag, since they change the look of a single-colour finish more than a busy one.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who like a used, weathered look on their weapons.
  • Budget entry buyers who want the skin without caring about edges.
  • Conclusion: a fit for those who value character over cleanliness.
