Skin overview

In Well-Worn the rust takes over a large part of the shotgun and the original dark metal survives mostly in patches. The colour shifts towards warm brown and orange, giving the Nova a heavily weathered look. It suits buyers who want the corroded theme clearly expressed.

Item type: shotgun. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The barrel and receiver are finished in dark gunmetal close to black, with a subtle reddish-brown patina showing through the surface. The pump forend stands out in a muted grey-teal with deep horizontal ribs, and the area around the muzzle cap carries a lighter metal edge.

Rust covers most of the receiver, forend and grip and spreads widely over the barrel and stock. The original dark metal remains only in patches on the larger flat areas. In game the Nova reads as predominantly rusty brown-orange. The grey-teal of the pump is largely muted under the corrosion.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir Nova | Rust Coat ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Havoc Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Warm copper, brown, orange and gold stickers blend with the rust tones, while matte black or dark metallic ones suit the cleaner wears. Placements on the receiver side work best, as the ribbed forend breaks up sticker artwork.

What to check before buying

  • Decide how much rust you want, since on this skin the amount of corrosion grows with the float rather than just adding scratches.
  • Within one wear, compare the float position, because a low-float copy looks darker and a high-float copy rustier than the grade name suggests.
  • Look at the forend ribs and receiver edges in the inspect view, as they show rust first.
  • Check applied stickers and name tags, since they stay on the item.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Fans of weathered, rugged weapon looks.
  • Buyers who want strong rust without going to the maximum.
  • Conclusion: a clearly corroded Nova with some base left.
