Show allAllSkin overview
SCAR-20 | Brass is a Mil-Spec Grade finish for the Counter-Terrorist sniper rifle, with the receiver and handguard covered in an olive-brass patina. In Factory New the metallic yellow-green sheen is at its fullest, and the darker mottling across the brass looks deliberate rather than aged. The scope, barrel and stock stay dark, so the brass body reads clearly against them.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The receiver and the long handguard are finished in olive-brass with a metallic sheen and darker mottled patches typical of a patina finish. Small bright brass accents appear on the edge of the top rail, around the lower receiver and on the stock.
The brass surfaces are clean and keep their full metallic sheen, and the edges of the rail and handguard show no marks. The mottled patina is crisp and even across the body. In game the rifle reads as a solid olive-gold shape against the dark scope and stock.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Brass is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Norse Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, brown and black stickers match the brass-and-dark scheme and keep the rifle looking like one piece. Placements on the flat sides of the receiver show best against the olive-brass, while bright blue or pink stickers will contrast sharply with the patina.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the clean end of a grade keep more sheen on the edges.
- Look at the handguard edges and the top rail on the inspect screen, as these parts lose the finish first.
- Check applied stickers and name tags, because they change how the brass body reads and cannot be removed without loss.
- Compare a few copies in the mottled areas, since the darker patina patches sit differently from one rifle to another.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the brass plating at its full sheen.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean, uniform base for gold and dark stickers.
- The choice for those who want this skin in its best form.
