Skin overview

A Well-Worn SCAR-20 | Brass looks like a rifle that has been handled for a long time: the brass is duller, and scratches gather along the handguard, rail and receiver edges. The yellow-green tone remains recognisable at normal distance, and the dark scope and stock hide much of the wear. It suits buyers who like a weathered metal look.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver and the long handguard are finished in olive-brass with a metallic sheen and darker mottled patches typical of a patina finish. Small bright brass accents appear on the edge of the top rail, around the lower receiver and on the stock.

Scratches spread from the edges onto the flat surfaces of the handguard and receiver, and the brass looks darker and patchier. The rail and stock accents lose most of their shine. At normal distance the colour scheme is still recognisable, though the finish no longer looks uniform.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Brass is 0–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir SCAR-20 | Brass belongs to The Norse Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, brown and black stickers match the brass-and-dark scheme and keep the rifle looking like one piece. Placements on the flat sides of the receiver show best against the olive-brass, while bright blue or pink stickers will contrast sharply with the patina.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the clean end of a grade keep more sheen on the edges.
  • Look at the handguard edges and the top rail on the inspect screen, as these parts lose the finish first.
  • Check applied stickers and name tags, because they change how the brass body reads and cannot be removed without loss.
  • Compare a few copies in the mottled areas, since the darker patina patches sit differently from one rifle to another.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Buyers who like weathered metal and a used look.
  • Players looking for an inexpensive way to change the default rifle.
  • A good fit for those who value character over cleanliness.
