Show allAllSkin overview
The Minimal Wear copy keeps the same brass-plated look: an olive-gold body with uneven darker patches and small brass accents on the rail and stock. The few marks this grade allows sit mostly on sharp edges and are hard to spot in the mottled finish. For most buyers it looks almost the same as Factory New at a lower entry point.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver and the long handguard are finished in olive-brass with a metallic sheen and darker mottled patches typical of a patina finish. Small bright brass accents appear on the edge of the top rail, around the lower receiver and on the stock.
Light marks may appear on the sharpest edges of the handguard and top rail, but they blend into the patina. The receiver sides and stock accents stay clean. At normal viewing distance the difference from Factory New is barely noticeable.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Brass ranges from 0 to 1; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 8% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir SCAR-20 | Brass belongs to The Norse Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, brown and black stickers match the brass-and-dark scheme and keep the rifle looking like one piece. Placements on the flat sides of the receiver show best against the olive-brass, while bright blue or pink stickers will contrast sharply with the patina.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the clean end of a grade keep more sheen on the edges.
- Look at the handguard edges and the top rail on the inspect screen, as these parts lose the finish first.
- Check applied stickers and name tags, because they change how the brass body reads and cannot be removed without loss.
- Compare a few copies in the mottled areas, since the darker patina patches sit differently from one rifle to another.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want an almost clean look and are glad to save compared with Factory New.
- Crafters who are fine with marks hidden in the patina.
- A sensible balance between look and cost.
