Show allAllSkin overview
Colony IV is recognisable by its hazard-stripe framing and the red ant over a field of gas masks. At Well-Worn the yellow paint is noticeably broken up, with grey metal showing through on edges and raised parts. The ant and the strong colour contrast still carry the skin at a glance.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The receiver carries the main artwork: a red skeletal ant painted over a yellow-orange background with dark linework. The handguard combines dark teal panels with diagonal black and yellow hazard stripes, while the barrel and muzzle stay mostly grey metal with yellow accents.
Paint loss spreads across the handguard, magazine and stock, with grey metal showing through the yellow. The receiver artwork is scuffed around its edges and some details of the gas masks are lost. In game the rifle looks clearly used, though the red ant remains visible. The scope and the centre of the ant drawing hold up best.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir SG 553 | Colony IV ranges from 0 to 1; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 7% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Shattered Web Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Shattered Web Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red, black and yellow stickers blend with the ant and hazard-stripe palette, while teal or dark green pieces echo the handguard panels. Placements on the handguard or near the stock keep the receiver artwork uncovered.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep more of the handguard and magazine paint.
- Look at the receiver closely on worn copies, because the red ant is the focal point of the skin.
- Inspect the muzzle, handguard edges and stock end, as these parts lose paint first.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the busy artwork reads.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Budget buyers who want the skin's colours and the ant motif without a cleaner grade.
- Players who prefer a weathered, used rifle look.
- Conclusion: an affordable way to own the design with visible character.
