Show allAllSkin overview
In Well-Worn the metallic fire paint is noticeably broken up, with bare metal showing through on edges and protruding parts. The orange loses some of its punch and turns patchy, giving the rifle a scorched, worked-over look. It suits buyers who like a rough finish that fits the fire theme.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The handguard and front of the receiver are painted burnt orange with darker vertical streaks that suggest heat and flame. Towards the rear the receiver shifts into red-brown and then deep charcoal, giving a metallic fire gradient along the rifle.
The edges and rails are heavily chipped, and bare metal breaks through on the flat parts of the handguard and receiver. The orange turns patchy and less saturated. In game the rifle looks scorched and worn, but the orange-to-dark split is still visible. The magazine and stock edges also show clear wear.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Danger Close is 0.02–0.8; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir SG 553 | Danger Close belongs to The Danger Zone Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Danger Zone Case.
What it costs in each quality
Among 3 skins of the SG 553 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Warm stickers in orange, red, gold or black match the fire theme and blend into the handguard. Placing them on the darker rear of the receiver adds contrast, while bright cold colours such as blue or green will clash with the orange.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within its wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep more of the orange handguard.
- Look at the handguard edges and rails first, as chipping appears there before anywhere else.
- Review applied stickers and any name tag, because they change how the orange receiver reads.
- Decide whether you want StatTrak™ or a Souvenir copy, as both exist for this skin.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Buyers who like a scorched, worked-over look that fits the theme.
- Players on a budget who still want some orange on the rifle.
- Conclusion: for fans of rough finishes rather than clean ones.
