Skin overview

This SG 553 wears a blue hydrographic camo whose soft patches blend into a cool, steel-toned surface. In Field-Tested the first scuffs appear on edges and protruding parts, which adds a used, service-rifle character to the plain pattern. The overall colour scheme still reads clearly as blue camo from normal distance.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, handguard and magazine are covered with irregular patches of pale blue, slate grey and dark navy applied as a hydrographic camo. The same pattern continues over the pistol grip, the stock and the body of the scope, so the rifle looks uniformly wrapped.

Scuffs become visible on the rail ridges, magazine edges, scope and the rear of the stock. The flat sides of the receiver and handguard still carry most of the pattern. In game the rifle looks lightly used but clearly blue camo. The grip and central receiver area mostly stay clean.
