Show allAllSkin overview
Night Camo is a simple blue-grey camouflage, and in Well-Worn it turns into a noticeably weathered finish. Bare metal shows through on the edges of the rail, magazine and stock, breaking up the pattern in places. It suits buyers who like a rough, used look on a low-key rifle.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The receiver, handguard and magazine are covered with irregular patches of pale blue, slate grey and dark navy applied as a hydrographic camo. The same pattern continues over the pistol grip, the stock and the body of the scope, so the rifle looks uniformly wrapped.
Wear spreads from the edges onto the magazine, the stock and the sides of the handguard, exposing dark metal. The scope loses a noticeable part of its camo. From normal distance the pattern looks patchy and faded. Flat areas of the receiver still hold recognisable blue patches.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Night Camo is 0–0.795; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 4 skins of the SG 553 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in blue, white, silver or black match the cool tones of the camo without breaking it up. A single accent in a contrasting warm colour can work on the receiver side, where the pattern is most uniform.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the magazine and stock.
- Inspect the rail ridges, scope and magazine edges, as these parts lose paint first.
- Check whether the copy is Souvenir, because its pre-applied stickers change the overall look.
- Check for applied stickers or a name tag that you may not want on a plain camo rifle.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Players who like a weathered, field-used look on a rifle.
- Budget buyers who want the skin at a lower cost than cleaner grades.
- A fit for fans of rough-looking camo.
