Skin overview

Tec-9 | Snek-9 builds its look on a scaled coral snake pattern in red, black and yellow over the front of a grey pistol. Battle-Scarred copies show heavy erosion: large parts of the shroud are rubbed down and the snake on the magazine is broken up. It suits players who like a weathered, snake-skin-shed look over a neat finish.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The barrel shroud carries the main artwork: a dense snake-scale texture in bands of red, black and yellow, wrapped around the perforated tube up to the muzzle. The pattern continues over the upper receiver and bolt area, while the lower receiver, trigger guard and grip are left in plain grey.

Large areas of the shroud are rubbed down, especially around the holes and toward the muzzle. The upper receiver pattern is heavily eroded, and the magazine snake is reduced to fragments. Only parts of the red and yellow bands remain in protected spots. In game it looks rough, with the theme still hinted at by scattered colour.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, yellow and black stickers match the coral snake bands, while gold or holo yellow pieces echo the bright scales. The plain grey receiver and magazine leave room for stickers without covering the artwork on the shroud.
