Souvenir Tec-9 | Snek-9 (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Tec-9 | Snek-9 is easy to recognise by its snake-scale shroud in alternating red, black and yellow, set against a grey frame with a coiled snake on the magazine. In Field-Tested the colours still carry the theme, but scuffs appear along the shroud openings and the muzzle end. The bands remain clearly readable in game, so the skin keeps its character.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The barrel shroud carries the main artwork: a dense snake-scale texture in bands of red, black and yellow, wrapped around the perforated tube up to the muzzle. The pattern continues over the upper receiver and bolt area, while the lower receiver, trigger guard and grip are left in plain grey.

Scuffs are visible around the shroud holes, on the muzzle end and along the top edge of the receiver. The yellow bands look slightly duller where the paint is rubbed. The magazine snake may show small chips at its edges. In game the coral snake bands still read clearly.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Snek-9 ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Horizon Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Horizon Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, yellow and black stickers match the coral snake bands, while gold or holo yellow pieces echo the bright scales. The plain grey receiver and magazine leave room for stickers without covering the artwork on the shroud.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear range, since copies at the cleaner end of a grade look noticeably better on the shroud.
• Look at the shroud holes and muzzle end in the inspect view, as these are the first places to lose paint.
• Inspect the snake drawing on the magazine, because chips there are easy to see in first-person view.
• Note any stickers or name tag, and decide whether a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version fits what you want.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want the snake theme clearly visible in matches.
• Buyers looking for a balanced option between look and condition.
• Conclusion: a practical everyday grade that keeps the skin's character.
