Skin overview

This XM1014 finish is recognisable by its large uniform areas of beige and soft green rather than any pattern or print. In Field-Tested the paint starts to break at the muzzle, along the barrel and on sharp edges, letting darker metal show through. The overall tan-and-green silhouette stays readable, which suits a skin made of solid colour.

Item type: shotgun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, barrel and magazine tube are painted a warm sandy tan, and the pistol grip and trigger guard share the same colour. The pump forend with its ribbed grip is sage green, and the rear section of the stock with the butt plate repeats that green inside a tan stock frame.

Paint chips become visible at the muzzle, along the top of the barrel and on the edges of the receiver. The ribs of the green forend begin to lose colour on their raised lines. In game the tan-and-green scheme still reads clearly, with wear noticeable mainly on the barrel in first-person view. The flat sides of the receiver and the grip stay mostly clean.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir XM1014 | Grassland ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 31% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Militia Collection with 11 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

By price this skin is 2nd of 7 skins Consumer Grade XM1014 in this quality (the first being the dearest).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Muted greens, browns, olive and sand tones blend well with the tan body and green forend. Dark or matte stickers on the tan receiver give a clean contrast without breaking the field palette, while bright neon colours tend to clash with it.

What to check before buying

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since the muzzle and top of the barrel show the difference first.
  • Check the forend ribs and receiver edges in the inspect view, as these parts chip early on a solid-colour finish.
  • Souvenir copies come with preset stickers, so decide whether they fit the look you want.
  • On regular copies, check any applied stickers or name tag, because they change the plain look of the finish.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want a tidy two-tone shotgun for everyday matches.
  • Budget buyers who accept visible chips on the barrel.
  • A practical pick that keeps the colour scheme clearly readable.
