Skin overview

Grassland is a no-frills field scheme for the XM1014: sand-coloured body, green pump and green stock section. In Well-Worn the solid coats are visibly chipped, and the tan parts lose a fair share of their surface on edges and raised details. It reads as a used work tool, and some players choose it for exactly that look.

Item type: shotgun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver, barrel and magazine tube are painted a warm sandy tan, and the pistol grip and trigger guard share the same colour. The pump forend with its ribbed grip is sage green, and the rear section of the stock with the butt plate repeats that green inside a tan stock frame.

The barrel and magazine tube show large worn patches with dark metal underneath. The forend ribs and stock edges are clearly chipped, and the receiver loses paint around its corners. In game the gun looks used, though the colour split between tan and green is still easy to see. The broad flat areas of the receiver and stock keep most of their colour.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir XM1014 | Grassland ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir XM1014 | Grassland belongs to The Militia Collection, which holds 11 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Among 8 skins of the XM1014 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Muted greens, browns, olive and sand tones blend well with the tan body and green forend. Dark or matte stickers on the tan receiver give a clean contrast without breaking the field palette, while bright neon colours tend to clash with it.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since the muzzle and top of the barrel show the difference first.
  • Check the forend ribs and receiver edges in the inspect view, as these parts chip early on a solid-colour finish.
  • Souvenir copies come with preset stickers, so decide whether they fit the look you want.
  • On regular copies, check any applied stickers or name tag, because they change the plain look of the finish.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who like a used, field-tool look on their shotgun.
  • Buyers looking for an inexpensive way to replace the default XM1014.
  • Suits those who value character over a clean finish.
