Skin overview

Grassland keeps the XM1014 in a calm two-tone field palette: tan metal and polymer, with green on the pump and the rear of the stock. In Minimal Wear the solid colours still look whole, and any marks are small enough to stay out of sight in a match. For a plain finish like this, the gap to Factory New is mostly a matter of close inspection.

Item type: shotgun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver, barrel and magazine tube are painted a warm sandy tan, and the pistol grip and trigger guard share the same colour. The pump forend with its ribbed grip is sage green, and the rear section of the stock with the butt plate repeats that green inside a tan stock frame.

Tiny scuffs may appear at the muzzle and on the sharpest edges of the receiver. The green forend and stock section remain essentially untouched. At normal playing distance the gun is hard to tell apart from Factory New. Lower floats in this grade look practically clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir XM1014 | Grassland ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Militia Collection with 11 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Among 7 skins of the XM1014 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Muted greens, browns, olive and sand tones blend well with the tan body and green forend. Dark or matte stickers on the tan receiver give a clean contrast without breaking the field palette, while bright neon colours tend to clash with it.

What to check before buying

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since the muzzle and top of the barrel show the difference first.
  • Check the forend ribs and receiver edges in the inspect view, as these parts chip early on a solid-colour finish.
  • Souvenir copies come with preset stickers, so decide whether they fit the look you want.
  • On regular copies, check any applied stickers or name tag, because they change the plain look of the finish.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Crafters who are fine with tiny marks hidden at the muzzle and edges.
  • A sensible middle ground for a finish where the top grades look almost the same.
