Show allAllSkin overview
This Bowie Knife pairs a blued blade and fittings with a plain dark grip, so the look depends almost entirely on the metal surface. At Well-Worn the patina is clearly scratched and faded in places, and the steel underneath shows through on edges and raised areas. It reads as a battered field knife, which fits the survival theme of the weapon.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The blade is covered in a dark steel-blue patina, with a lighter silver-blue bevel running along the cutting edge up to the clipped tip. The sawback teeth on the spine carry the same blued finish and stand out as a row of small raised points.
The blade carries clear scratches and faded patches, with bare steel showing on the edge, tip and spine teeth. The guard and pommel edges are noticeably worn through to lighter metal. In game the knife looks mottled, with the blue tone broken up rather than even. Darker areas of patina still remain in the centre of the blade.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the bluing on the tip and spine teeth changes noticeably across the range.
- Compare the pattern on inspect, because the patina can lean more blue or more grey from copy to copy.
- Look at the edges of the guard and pommel, as these raised parts lose their bluing early.
- If you want a tracker, confirm whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Players who enjoy a battered, mottled metal surface.
- Budget-minded buyers who still want visible bluing on the blade.
- Good for those who value character over cleanliness.
