Show allAllSkin overview
The finish is a smoky black-and-grey spray-paint pattern over the whole knife, from the curved blade to the ribbed handle. In Well-Worn a noticeable part of the paint along the edge and the raised details has gone, and the steel underneath gives the blade a rougher, weathered tone. The overall burnt character still holds, so the skin keeps its identity at this grade.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The blade is painted in a mottled scheme of black, charcoal and lighter grey, with soft-edged blotches that look like soot over steel; the darker patches gather towards the spine and the tip. The serrated section near the base of the blade carries the same smoky paint, and the pivot area stays in a darker tone.
The cutting edge, the tip and the serrations show wide bands of bare steel, and the wear reaches into the flat of the blade. The raised ribs and curved edges of the handle are noticeably scuffed. In game the knife looks lighter and patchier, with the dark blotches broken up by metal. The centre of the blade and the middle of the grip still keep part of the pattern.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of ★ Flip Knife | Scorched is 0.06–0.8; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear range, since the worn grades on this skin are wide and copies with the same wear name can look quite different.
- Look at the cutting edge, the tip and the serrations first, as they lose paint before the rest of the knife.
- Compare the placement of the dark blotches on the blade, because the spray pattern sits differently from copy to copy.
- Note whether the knife has a StatTrak™ counter or a name tag, as both change the item you are buying.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget-minded players who want the Flip Knife model with a dark finish.
- Fans of a weathered look where steel shows through the paint.
- A cost-saving option that still keeps the Scorched character.
