★ StatTrak™ Talon Knife | Forest DDPAT (Factory New)

Skin overview

★ Talon Knife | Forest DDPAT puts a digital woodland camouflage of green, olive, tan and dark brown pixels on the curved blade, set against a solid green handle with dark rivets. In Factory New the pixel blocks keep crisp edges and the colours sit evenly across the whole blade, so the camouflage reads as a deliberate pattern rather than a blur. The skin's float range starts close to the top of this grade, so Factory New copies come from a narrow band.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The curved blade of the Talon Knife is covered in a digital woodland camouflage of square pixel blocks in green, olive, tan, light beige and dark brown, with a thin strip of polished steel along the cutting edge. The spine carries saw-tooth ridges and three round holes that cut through the pattern.

The camouflage is intact across the whole blade, and the pixel edges stay sharp right up to the tip. The serrated spine, the holes and the handle edges show no exposed metal. In game the blade looks clean and evenly coloured from any angle. Because this grade sits at the very start of the skin's range, Factory New floats differ very little.

Factory New wear: float 0.06–0.07

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Talon Knife | Forest DDPAT ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Factory New quality covers 0.06–0.07 — 1% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

• Check the tip and the cutting edge in inspect, since that is where the camouflage loses paint first.
• Look at the saw-tooth spine and the area around the three holes to judge how far the wear has spread in mid grades.
• Compare the float with the borders of its wear grade, because a low float inside a grade often looks a step cleaner.
• Decide whether you want StatTrak™, since the counter is shown on the knife and changes the version you are buying.

Who should buy Factory New

• Collectors who want the camouflage with crisp pixels and no exposed steel.
• Players who inspect their knife often and want the cleanest possible blade.
• The top grade for anyone who wants this pattern in its intended form.
