Show allAllSkin overview
In Field-Tested the Talon Knife | Forest DDPAT starts to look like a tool that has been used outdoors: the camouflage is still clearly readable, but steel shows through along the edge, the tip and the serrated spine. The muted greens and browns hide scuffs well, so the knife keeps a coherent military look in first-person view.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The curved blade of the Talon Knife is covered in a digital woodland camouflage of square pixel blocks in green, olive, tan, light beige and dark brown, with a thin strip of polished steel along the cutting edge. The spine carries saw-tooth ridges and three round holes that cut through the pattern.
Bare steel is visible along the cutting edge and the tip, and scuffs start on the saw-tooth ridges and around the three holes. The middle of the blade keeps most of its pixel pattern. The handle shows only light rubbing at its edges. In first-person view the wear blends into the camouflage and does not dominate the look.

What to check before buying
- Check the tip and the cutting edge in inspect, since that is where the camouflage loses paint first.
- Look at the saw-tooth spine and the area around the three holes to judge how far the wear has spread in mid grades.
- Compare the float with the borders of its wear grade, because a low float inside a grade often looks a step cleaner.
- Decide whether you want StatTrak™, since the counter is shown on the knife and changes the version you are buying.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want a Talon Knife for daily use and do not mind visible edge wear.
- Buyers who like a used, field-tested look on a camouflage finish.
- The most practical grade for regular play.
