Show allAllSkin overview
Night Stripe turns the curved Talon blade into a piece of night ops gear, with tape-masked stripes in navy and grey-blue. In Field-Tested the paint starts to break on the blade tip, the edge and the saw-tooth spine, letting bare steel show through. The worn spots suit the utilitarian spray-paint style rather than spoil it.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The whole knife is painted in a matte slate blue base with broad diagonal bands of deep navy and lighter grey-blue, applied with a tape mask so the stripe edges run straight across the surface. On the curved blade the stripes cross from spine to edge, while a thin bare steel bevel follows the cutting edge.
The tip, the cutting edge and the spine teeth show clear chipping with steel showing through. Smaller scuffs start to appear on the bolster and around the holes in the spine. The grip and finger ring still hold most of their paint and stripe edges. In game the blade shows a lighter, scratched outline while the handle keeps the dark striped look.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of ★ StatTrak™ Talon Knife | Night Stripe ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 31% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since paint loss on the blade tip and spine teeth grows quickly in the worn grades.
- Inspect the tip, the cutting edge and the saw-tooth spine first, as these parts lose paint before anything else.
- Look at how the stripes fall across the blade, because the tape-mask placement can differ between copies.
- Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, and decide if that matters to you.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the Talon Knife shape with the night ops camouflage at a moderate cost.
- Fans of a used, utilitarian look where light steel wear suits the spray-paint style.
- Conclusion: a practical middle option for everyday play.
