Show allAllSkin overview
This Talon Knife carries a cold, low-contrast camouflage of angled dark blue and grey stripes over a slate base. In Minimal Wear the scheme looks almost untouched in hand, with only faint marks near the tip and the spine teeth on close inspection. It is the grade where most buyers get a near-clean look without hunting for the rarer Factory New copies.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The whole knife is painted in a matte slate blue base with broad diagonal bands of deep navy and lighter grey-blue, applied with a tape mask so the stripe edges run straight across the surface. On the curved blade the stripes cross from spine to edge, while a thin bare steel bevel follows the cutting edge.
Light scratches can appear at the blade tip and on the points of the spine teeth. The stripes and their edges remain sharp everywhere else, including the full grip and ring. At normal inspect distance the knife looks practically the same as Factory New. Lower floats in this grade are hard to tell apart from a clean copy.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The float of ★ StatTrak™ Talon Knife | Night Stripe ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since paint loss on the blade tip and spine teeth grows quickly in the worn grades.
- Inspect the tip, the cutting edge and the saw-tooth spine first, as these parts lose paint before anything else.
- Look at how the stripes fall across the blade, because the tape-mask placement can differ between copies.
- Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, and decide if that matters to you.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the rarer Factory New grade.
- Buyers who inspect the knife often and want the stripes to stay sharp.
- Conclusion: a sensible balance of clean appearance and availability.
